The Southeast Polk Rams overwhelmed the visiting Davenport Central Blue Devils softball squad by a count of 9-0 in Friday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Rams meet the Pleasant Valley Spartans (Pleasant Valley, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, June 14. Southeast Polk will attempt to upgrade on its 11-7 season record. The Spartans go into the challenge with a 12-3 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Dubuque Senior (Dubuque, IA).
The Blue Devils (3-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Jefferson (Cedar Rapids, IA). The Hawks go into the non-league challenge with a 4-6 record. In their last challenge, Jefferson toppled Waterloo West (Waterloo, IA), 8-0, in a non-league challenge.
