Shrine Catholic Knights (Royal Oak, MI) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Bad Axe Hatchets (Bad Axe, MI), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Knights confront the Kalamazoo Christian Comets (Kalamazoo, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, June 17. Shrine Catholic will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record. The Comets enter the challenge with a 8-0 record after their 1-0 non-league win over North Muskegon (North Muskegon, MI).

The Hatchets now have a 2-2 record.
