The Vikings now possess a 5-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mt. Vernon for a non-league bout on Monday, June 17. Vinton-Shellsburg will face a Mustangs team coming off a 8-3 non-league win over Atlantic (Atlantic, IA). The Mustangs record now stands at 9-10.

Next, the Mustangs face the Union Knights (La Porte City, IA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, June 17. East Marshall will attempt to move on its 7-12 season record. The Knights enter the bout with a 4-12 record after their 5-3 league loss to Oelwein (Oelwein, IA).
