Benton Bobcats (Van Horne, IA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host A-D-M Tigers (Adel, IA), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Bobcats now own a 17-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Perry for a non-league challenge on Saturday, June 15. Benton will clash with a Bluejays team coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to A-D-M (Adel, IA). The Bluejays record now stands at 5-10.
In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Perry Bluejays (Perry, IA) in a non-league game, on Friday, June 14. A-D-M will attempt to improve on its 14-7 season record. The Bluejays come into the game with a 5-8 record after their 11-4 league loss to South Hamilton (Jewell, IA).
