The Red Oak Tigers baseball team scored 6 runs and held the host Stanton Vikings to 0 in the Tigers non-league win on Saturday.
The Tigers now own a 8-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Denison-Schleswig for a Hawkeye 10 test on Monday, June 16. Red Oak will play a Monarchs team coming off a 5-1 league loss to Harlan (Harlan, IA). The Monarchs record now stands at 7-8.
With the defeat, Stanton drops to 4-6 on the year. The Vikings travel to Essex (Essex, IA) to play the Trojans in a Corner test on Monday, June 16. The Trojans go into the test with a record of 0-6. Essex lost 21-4 in their recent league test against Fremont-Mills (Tabor, IA)
