The Beckman Trailblazers got by the visiting Davenport North Wildcats softball squad by a count of 14-13 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Trailblazers meet the Monticello Panthers (Monticello, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, June 16. Beckman will attempt to upgrade on its 8-7 season record. The Panthers go into the challenge with a 2-11 record after their 4-0 non-league loss to Crestwood (Cresco, IA).
The Wildcats (8-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Northeast (Goose Lake, IA). The Rebels go into the non-league challenge with a 5-3 record.
