In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting East Sac County Raiders softball team scored a tight 12-7 win over the Carroll Tigers.

The Raiders (8-4) will now prepare for their match against Newell-Fonda (Newell, IA). The Mustangs come into the Twin Lakes match with a 11-4 record. In their last match, Newell-Fonda was routed by Storm Lake (Storm Lake, IA), 1-0, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Tigers confront the North Polk Comets (Alleman, IA) in a Raccoon River match, on Monday, June 16. Carroll will attempt to better on its 0-11 season record. The Comets come into the match with a 12-4 record after their 11-7 non-league loss to Clear Creek-Amana (Tiffin, IA).
