The Norwalk Warriors triumphed over the visiting Clear Creek-Amana Clippers softball squad by a count of 7-2 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Warriors play the Bondurant-Farrar Bluejays (Bondurant, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, June 16. Norwalk will attempt to upgrade on its 16-2 season record. The Bluejays enter the challenge with a 13-4 record after their 6-2 non-league win over Ankeny (Ankeny, IA).
The Clippers (14-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, IA). The Mustangs enter the non-league challenge with a 12-5 record. In their last challenge, Mt. Vernon edged Regina (Iowa City, IA), 9-0, in a non-league challenge.
