Iowa High School Softball - Crestwood sneaks past Dike-New Hartford

The Crestwood Cadets (Cresco, IA) softball nipped the visiting Dike-New Hartford Wolverines (Dike, IA), 3-2 in Saturday's non-league outing.
The Cadets now sport a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host New Hampton for a Northeast Iowa challenge on Tuesday, June 17.
The Wolverines (11-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Aplington-Parkersburg (Parkersburg, IA). The Falcons enter the North Iowa Cedar - Central challenge with a 2-12 record. In their last challenge, Aplington-Parkersburg was nudged by Belmond-Klemme (Belmond, IA), 11-5, in a non-league challenge.
