The Kee Kee Hawks overwhelmed the host St. Ansgar Saints softball squad by a count of 10-2 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Kee Hawks meet the Jesup J-Hawks (Jesup, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, June 17. Kee will attempt to upgrade on its 10-4 season record.
The Saints (5-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Central Springs (Manly, IA). The Panthers go into the Top of Iowa-East challenge with a 7-4 record. In their last challenge, Central Springs was routed by Kennedy (Cedar Rapids, IA), 8-0, in a non-league challenge.
