The Camanche Indians (Camanche, IA) softball routed the visiting Mt. Pleasant Panthers (Mt. Pleasant, IA), 11-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Indians (4-12) will now prepare for their bout against Clinton (Clinton, IA). The River Kings go into the non-league bout with a 2-21 record. In their last bout, Clinton was routed by North Scott (Eldridge, IA), 12-0, in a league bout.
The Panthers now possess a 2-13 record. They play next when they travel to Fairfield for a Southeast bout on Monday, June 17. Mt. Pleasant will confront a Trojans squad coming off a 6-0 non-league loss to Collins-Maxwell (Maxwell, IA). The Trojans record now stands at 3-12.
