The Western Dubuque Bobcats (Epworth, IA) softball routed the visiting North Linn Lynx (Troy Mills, IA), 14-2 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Bobcats (8-2) will now prepare for their bout against Xavier (Cedar Rapids, IA). The Saints go into the non-league bout with a 15-6 record.
The Lynx now possess a 17-10 record. They play next when they host Maquoketa Valley for a non-league bout on Monday, June 17. North Linn will confront a Wildcats squad coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Calamus-Wheatland (Wheatland, IA). The Wildcats record now stands at 13-6.
