The Urbandale J-Hawks routed the host St. Edmond Gaels softball squad by a count of 9-2 in Saturday's non-league battle.

The J-Hawks (12-9) will now prepare for their battle against A-D-M (Adel, IA). The Tigers go into the non-league battle with a 16-7 record. In their last battle, A-D-M nudged Solon (Solon, IA), 11-1, in a non-league battle.

The Gaels now sport a 12-4 record. They play next when they host Webster City for a non-league battle on Monday, June 17. St. Edmond will meet a Lynx squad coming off a 12-9 non-league loss to Pocahontas (Pocahontas, IA). The Lynx record now stands at 10-5.
