The Boone Toreadors softball team scored 6 runs and limited the visiting Perry Bluejays to 5 in the Toreadors non-league triumph on Saturday.
With the triumph, Boone moves its record to 6-10 on the year. The Toreadors host Ballard (Huxley, IA) to clash with the Bombers in a non-league game on Monday, June 19. The Bombers come into the game with a record of 5-1.
In their next game, the Bluejays clash with the Prairie City-Monroe Mustangs (Monroe, IA) in a game, on Monday, June 19. Perry will attempt to move on its 8-8 season record.
