The crowd at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Aplington-Parkersburg Falcons (Parkersburg, IA) and the host Belle Plaine Plainsmen (Belle Plaine, IA), saw Aplington-Parkersburg's baseball team gain a win over Belle Plaine by a tally of 10-1.

The Falcons (8-8) will now prepare for their battle against Columbus (Waterloo, IA). The Sailors enter the North Iowa Cedar - Central battle with a 6-13 record.

Next, the Plainsmen face the B-G-M Bears (Brooklyn, IA) in a South Iowa Cedar battle, on Wednesday, June 18. Belle Plaine will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Bears enter the battle with a 8-5 record after their 9-6 league win over North Mahaska (New Sharon, IA).
