The Ballard Bombers baseball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Nevada Cubs to 2 in the Bombers non-league win on Tuesday.
The Bombers (15-2) will now prepare for their battle against Gilbert (Gilbert, IA). The Tigers enter the Raccoon River battle with a 8-9 record. In their last battle, Gilbert was overwhelmed by Dallas Center-Grimes (Dallas Center, IA), 7-4, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Cubs face the Gilbert Tigers (Gilbert, IA) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, June 19. Nevada will attempt to upgrade on its 9-6 season record. The Tigers enter the battle with a 8-9 record after their 7-4 non-league loss to Dallas Center-Grimes (Dallas Center, IA).
