The Wildcats now own a 8-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Marquette for a non-league challenge on Thursday, June 19. Maquoketa Valley will clash with a Defenders team coming off a 13-2 league win over Prince of Peace Prep (Clinton, IA). The Defenders record now stands at 14-1.

With the defeat, Clayton-Ridge drops to 7-10 on the year. The Eagles host South Winneshiek (Calmar, IA) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, June 18. The Warriors go into the challenge with a record of 10-9. South Winneshiek won 1-0 in their recent league challenge against North Fayette Valley (West Union, IA)
