The Mt. Pleasant Panthers (Mt. Pleasant, IA) baseball trounced the visiting Davis County Mustangs (Bloomfield, IA), 11-3 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 10-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fairfield for a Southeast challenge on Thursday, June 19.

With the defeat, Davis County drops to 8-10 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Centerville (Centerville, IA) to clash with the Big Reds/Redettes in a South Central challenge on Wednesday, June 18. The Big Reds/Redettes go into the challenge with a record of 5-13. Centerville lost 14-4 in their recent league challenge against Chariton (Chariton, IA)
