The North Polk Comets (Alleman, IA) softball the visiting St. Edmond Gaels (Fort Dodge, IA), 4-2 in Tuesday's non-league outing.
The Comets now sport a 15-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ballard for a Raccoon River outing on Monday, June 23.
With the loss, St. Edmond moves to 12-6 on the season. The Gaels travel to Humboldt (Humboldt, IA) to encounter the Wildcats in a North Central outing on Wednesday, June 18. The Wildcats come into the outing with a record of 6-4. Humboldt won 7-5 in their recent league outing against Webster City (Webster City, IA)
