Iowa High School Softball - Grundy Center bounces West Fork

In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting Grundy Center Spartans softball team scored a tight 10-3 win over the West Fork Spartans.
The Spartans (12-4) will now prepare for their match against Dike-New Hartford (Dike, IA). The Wolverines come into the non-league match with a 8-6 record. In their last match, Dike-New Hartford nipped West Marshall (State Center, IA), 7-2, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Spartans battle the Northwood-Kensett Vikings (Northwood, IA) in a Top of Iowa-East match, on Friday, June 19. West Fork will attempt to better on its 7-5 season record. The Vikings come into the match with a 1-13 record after their 19-0 league loss to Nashua-Plainfield (Nashua, IA).
