In Tuesday's non-league game, the host Aplington-Parkersburg Falcons baseball team scored a nice 11-1 victory over the Nashua-Plainfield Huskies.
The Falcons (10-5) will now prepare for their game against East Marshall (Le Grand, IA). The Mustangs go into the non-league game with a 8-13 record. In their last game, East Marshall ran past BCLUW (Conrad, IA), 11-9, in a non-league game.
The Huskies (8-7) will now prepare for their game against St. Ansgar (St. Ansgar, IA). The Saints go into the non-league game with a 15-2 record. In their last game, St. Ansgar ran past Belmond-Klemme (Belmond, IA), 16-1, in a non-league game.
