The Center Point-Urbana Stormin' Pointers baseball team scored 22 runs and limited the host Monticello Panthers to 10 in the Stormin' Pointers non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Stormin' Pointers (17-4) will now prepare for their match against Western Dubuque (Epworth, IA). The Bobcats go into the non-league match with a 12-3 record. In their last match, Western Dubuque ran past Davenport West (Davenport, IA), 17-2, in a non-league match.
The Panthers (5-7) will now prepare for their match against West Branch (West Branch, IA). The Bears go into the River Valley - South match with a 10-5 record. In their last match, West Branch ran past Regina (Iowa City, IA), 14-13, in a league match.
