The Prairie City-Monroe Mustangs (Monroe, IA) softball routed the host Lynnville-Sully Hawks (Sully, IA), 12-1 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Mustangs (15-2) will now prepare for their bout against Roland-Story (Story City, IA). The Norsemen go into the non-league bout with a 6-14 record. In their last bout, Roland-Story was routed by Saydel (Des Moines, IA), 12-11, in a league bout.
The Hawks now possess a 8-12 record. They play next when they host North Mahaska for a South Iowa Cedar bout on Wednesday, June 19. Lynnville-Sully will confront a Warhawks squad coming off a 4-3 league loss to H-L-V (Victor, IA). The Warhawks record now stands at 5-11.
