The crowd at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Don Bosco Dons (Gilbertville, IA) and the visiting GMG Wolverines (Garwin, IA), saw Don Bosco's baseball team gain a win over GMG by a tally of 10-0.
The Dons (15-4) will now prepare for their battle against Clarksville (Clarksville, IA). The Indians enter the Iowa Star - North battle with a 2-10 record. In their last battle, Clarksville was overwhelmed by BCLUW (Conrad, IA), 11-4, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Wolverines face the North Tama Redhawks (Traer, IA) in a Iowa Star - South battle, on Friday, June 20. GMG will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Redhawks enter the battle with a 10-6 record after their 6-3 non-league loss to Riceville (Riceville, IA).
