In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Fremont-Mills Knights softball team scored a tight 9-8 win over the Lenox Tigers.
The Knights (9-6) will now prepare for their match against Bedford (Bedford, IA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league match with a 8-5 record.
In their next game, the Tigers confront the Martensdale-St. Mary's Blue Devils (Martensdale, IA) in a Pride of Iowa match, on Thursday, June 19. Lenox will attempt to better on its 7-10 season record. The Blue Devils come into the match with a 7-5 record after their 12-3 league win over East Union (Afton, IA).
