In Wednesday's non-league game, the visiting Grinnell Tigers baseball team scored a nice 11-3 victory over the Newton Cardinals.
The Tigers (18-6) will now prepare for their game against West Delaware (Manchester, IA). The Hawks go into the non-league game with a 7-16 record. In their last game, West Delaware overcame Van Meter (Van Meter, IA), 9-5, in a non-league game.
The Cardinals (5-16) will now prepare for their game against Pella Christian (Pella, IA). The Eagles go into the non-league game with a 11-15 record. In their last game, Pella Christian overcame Oskaloosa (Oskaloosa, IA), 10-9, in a non-league game.
