Iowa High School Softball - Central Lee bounces Hillcrest Academy

The Central Lee Hawks routed the host Hillcrest Academy Ravens softball squad by a final score of 16-0 in Wednesday's non-league battle.
The Hawks (17-5) will now prepare for their battle against Holy Trinity Catholic (Fort Madison, IA). The Crusaders go into the SE IA Super - South battle with a 5-7 record. In their last battle, Holy Trinity Catholic notched a victory over New London (New London, IA), 12-2, in a league battle.
The Ravens now possess a 5-8 record. They play next when they host Pekin for a SE IA Super - North battle on Thursday, June 20. Hillcrest Academy will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 6-4 league win over Winfield-Mt. Union (Winfield, IA). The Panthers record now stands at 1-17.
