The Jefferson Yellowjackets softball team scored 13 runs and limited the host Tri-Center Trojans to 1 in the Yellowjackets non-league triumph on Wednesday.

With the triumph, Jefferson improves its record to 13-13 on the year. The Yellowjackets host Lincoln (Council Bluffs, IA) to clash with the Lynx in a Missouri River game on Thursday, June 20. The Lynx come into the game with a record of 2-20. Lincoln won 4-2 in their recent non-league game against Harlan (Harlan, IA)

In their next game, the Trojans clash with the Missouri Valley Big Reds (Missouri Valley, IA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, June 20. Tri-Center will attempt to improve on its 5-14 season record.
