In Thursday's non-league bout, the Hempstead Mustangs (Dubuque, IA) baseball squad overwhelmed the visiting Davenport West Falcons (Davenport, IA), by a tally of 10-0.
Next up, the Mustangs encounter the Dubuque Senior Rams (Dubuque, IA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, June 20. Hempstead will attempt to upgrade on its 12-6 season record. The Rams enter the bout with a 9-12 record after their 7-1 non-league loss to Beckman (Dyersville, IA).
The Falcons (6-13) will now prepare for their bout against Camanche (Camanche, IA). The Indians enter the non-league bout with a 7-7 record. In their last bout, Camanche was overwhelmed by Monticello (Monticello, IA), 13-10, in a non-league test.
