New York High School Baseball - Peru defeats Salmon River

June 2, 2022: Fort Covington, NY 12937

Peru Nighthawks (Peru, NY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Salmon River Shamrocks (Fort Covington, NY), 7-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Peru upgrades its record to 19-2 on the season. The Nighthawks travel to Schuylerville (Schuylerville, NY) to battle the Horses in a non-league test on Saturday, June 4. The Horses come into the test with a record of 18-6. Schuylerville won 1-0 in their recent non-league test against Ichabod Crane (Valatie, NY)

With the defeat, Salmon River falls to 13-5 on the season.
