The Waverly-Shell Rock Go-Hawks held off the host Norwalk Warriors soccer squad by a margin of 1-0 in Thursday's non-league match.
The Go-Hawks now sport a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to Dallas Center-Grimes for a non-league match on Saturday, June 4. Waverly-Shell Rock will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Xavier (Cedar Rapids, IA). The Mustangs record now stands at 16-0.
With the loss, Norwalk drops to 8-2 on the season.
