The Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood Mavericks routed the host Central McLean [Turtle Lake-Mercer/Underwood/McClusky] Cougars softball squad by a count of 10-0 in Friday's non-league battle.
The Mavericks (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Hillsboro/Central Valley (Buxton, ND). The H-CV Burros go into the non-league battle with a 4-1 record. In their last battle, Hillsboro/Central Valley topped Des Lacs-Burlington (Des Lacs, ND), 9-0, in a non-league battle.
The Cougars now sport a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Des Lacs-Burlington for a non-league battle on Saturday, June 3.
