Illini Bluffs Tigers (Glasford, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host LeRoy Panthers (LeRoy, IL), 7-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Tigers now sport a 25-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Bede for a non-league challenge on Saturday, June 3. Illini Bluffs will face a Bruins squad coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Goreville (Goreville, IL). The Bruins record now stands at 25-7.
With the loss, LeRoy falls to 32-7 on the campaign.
