Pearland Oilers (Pearland, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting San Benito Greyhounds (San Benito, TX), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Oilers now sport a 39-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Guyer for a non-league challenge on Saturday, June 3. Pearland will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 6-3 non-league win over Bridgeland (Cypress, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 38-1.
With the loss, San Benito falls to 39-6 on the campaign.
