Massachusetts High School Baseball - Weymouth holds off Barnstable

Weymouth Wildcats (South Weymouth, MA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Sunday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Barnstable Red Hawks (Hyannis, MA), 4-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Weymouth upgrades its record to 14-9 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Braintree (Braintree, MA) to battle the Wamps in a Bay State - Herget test on Tuesday, June 4. The Wamps come into the test with a record of 18-3. Braintree won 9-2 in their recent non-league test against Peabody Veterans Memorial (Peabody, MA)
With the defeat, Barnstable falls to 14-7 on the season.
