Wachusett Regional Mountaineers (Holden, MA) fans went home satisfied Sunday as they witnessed their softball squad tip the visiting Belmont Marauders (Belmont, MA), 7-0 in a non-league battle.

The Mountaineers (19-2) will now prepare for their battle against Marshfield (Marshfield, MA). The Rams go into the non-league battle with a 14-7 record. In their last battle, Marshfield nudged Whittier RVT (Haverhill, MA), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

The Marauders now sport a 9-7 record.
