The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Nonnewaug Chiefs (Woodbury, CT) and the host Academy of Aerospace and Engineering Jets (Windsor, CT), observed Nonnewaug's softball team prevail over Academy of Aerospace and Engineering by a tally of 26-0.
The Chiefs (22-1) will now prepare for their bout against Wolcott (Wolcott, CT). The Eagles go into the non-league bout with a 13-7 record. In their last bout, Wolcott knocked off Griswold (Griswold, CT), 10-1, in a non-league bout.
