Granby Memorial Bears (Granby, CT) supporters left the game thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad beat the visiting Plainfield Panthers (Central Village, CT), 8-0 in a non-league contest.

With the triumph, Granby Memorial improves its record to 10-3 on the year. The Bears travel to Montville (Oakdale, CT) to face the Wolves in a non-league contest on Wednesday, June 4. The Wolves enter the contest with a record of 14-10. Montville won 22-3 in their recent non-league contest against University/Classical Magnet (Hartford, CT)

The Panthers now hold a 5-9 record.
