Maine High School Softball - Valley knocked off by North Yarmouth Academy

The North Yarmouth Academy Panthers overwhelmed the host Valley Cavaliers softball squad by a count of 10-1 in Monday's league challenge.
Next, the Panthers meet the Old Orchard Beach Seagulls (Old Orchard Beach, ME) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, June 3. North Yarmouth Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 11-3 season record. The Seagulls go into the challenge with a 3-8 record after their 14-3 non-league win over Mount View (Thorndike, ME).
The Cavaliers (8-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Vinalhaven (Vinalhaven, ME). The Vikings go into the Class D South challenge with a 8-3 record. In their last challenge, Vinalhaven was routed by Buckfield (Buckfield, ME), 17-2, in a league challenge.
