Iowa High School Baseball - Anamosa loses to Benton

The Benton Bobcats baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Anamosa Raiders to 2 in the Bobcats non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Bobcats (13-6) will now prepare for their match against Xavier (Cedar Rapids, IA). The Saints enter the non-league bout with a 15-14 record. In their last bout, Xavier knocked off Western Dubuque (Epworth, IA), 8-6, in a non-league bout.
Next, the Raiders face the Beckman Trailblazers (Dyersville, IA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, June 22. Anamosa will attempt to move on its 16-6 season record. The Trailblazers enter the bout with a 12-5 record after their 6-5 non-league loss to Xavier (Cedar Rapids, IA).
