In Thursday's non-league game, the visiting Riceville Wildcats baseball team scored a tight 1-0 victory over the North Butler Bearcats.
The Wildcats (12-13) will now prepare for their game against GMG (Garwin, IA). The Wolverines go into the non-league game with a 5-12 record.
The Bearcats (3-15) will now prepare for their game against Nashua-Plainfield (Nashua, IA). The Huskies go into the non-league game with a 8-9 record. In their last game, Nashua-Plainfield was edged by Osage (Osage, IA), 10-0, in a non-league game.
