The Southeast Valley Jaguars softball squad scored 10 runs and restricted the host Iowa Falls-Alden Cadets to 6 in the Jaguars non-league victory on Thursday.
The Jaguars (13-5) will now prepare for their battle against South Central Calhoun (Lake City, IA). The Titans go into the Twin Lakes battle with a 1-14 record. In their last battle, South Central Calhoun was routed by Newell-Fonda (Newell, IA), 17-0, in a league battle.
The Cadets now sport a 4-10 record. They play next when they host Hampton-Dumont/CAL for a non-league battle on Friday, June 21. Iowa Falls-Alden will meet a squad coming off a 10-1 non-league loss to St. Ansgar (St. Ansgar, IA). The record now stands at 6-11.
