In Friday's league game, the host Newell-Fonda Mustangs baseball team scored a nice 15-5 win over the Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire Titans.

The Mustangs (7-9) will now prepare for their game against Southeast Valley (Gowrie, IA). The Jaguars go into the Twin Lakes game with a 6-8 record. In their last game, Southeast Valley knocked off South Hamilton (Jewell, IA), 11-5, in a non-league game.

Next, the Titans play the Emmetsburg E'Hawks (Emmetsburg, IA) in a Twin Lakes game, on Monday, June 23. Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire will attempt to improve on its 4-9 season record. The E'Hawks go into the game with a 9-4 record after their 8-1 league win over West Bend-Mallard (West Bend, IA).
