The Little Cyclones (18-7) will now prepare for their bout against Winterset (Winterset, IA). The Huskies go into the non-league bout with a 16-8 record. In their last bout, Winterset knocked off Martensdale-St. Mary's (Martensdale, IA), 11-3, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Mustangs clash with the Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks (Wellman, IA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, June 21. Newell-Fonda will attempt to advance on its 15-7 season record. The Golden Hawks go into the bout with a 4-7 record after their 12-4 non-league loss to Williamsburg (Williamsburg, IA).
