The Storm Lake Tornadoes (Storm Lake, IA) softball routed the host Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire Titans (Ruthven, IA), 12-0 in Friday's non-league outing.
The Tornadoes now sport a 14-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gehlen Catholic for a non-league outing on Saturday, June 21. Storm Lake will encounter a Jays team coming off a 7-4 league win over Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union (Marcus, IA). The Jays record now stands at 7-6.
With the loss, Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire moves to 7-8 on the season. The Titans host Emmetsburg (Emmetsburg, IA) to encounter the E'Hawks in a Twin Lakes outing on Monday, June 23. The E'Hawks come into the outing with a record of 1-13.
