The North Linn Lynx triumphed over the host MFL MarMac Bulldogs softball squad by a count of 12-4 in Friday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Lynx meet the Beckman Trailblazers (Dyersville, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, June 21. North Linn will attempt to upgrade on its 12-9 season record. The Trailblazers enter the challenge with a 11-7 record after their 8-7 non-league win over Edgewood-Colesburg (Edgewood, IA).
The Bulldogs (2-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Postville (Postville, IA). The Pirates enter the Upper Iowa challenge with a 0-8 record.
