The West Delaware Hawks the visiting Monticello Panthers softball squad by a count of 3-1 in Friday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Hawks meet the Assumption Knights (Davenport, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, June 21. West Delaware will attempt to upgrade on its 13-6 season record. The Knights enter the challenge with a 10-10 record after their 7-2 non-league win over Cascade (Cascade, IA).
The Panthers (2-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Waukon (Waukon, IA). The Indians enter the non-league challenge with a 2-12 record.
