Saydel Eagles (Des Moines, IA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Boone Toreadors (Boone, IA), 4-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Eagles now own a 12-1 record. They take the field next when they host Nevada for a non-league challenge on Monday, June 27.

With the loss, Boone falls to 3-8 on the campaign. The Toreadors travel to Winterset (Winterset, IA) to battle the Huskies in a challenge on Wednesday, June 22. The Huskies enter the challenge with a record of 3-2.
