The West Burlington Falcons got by the visiting Highland Huskies baseball team by a count of 4-3 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Falcons now possess a 5-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mediapolis for a non-league bout on Thursday, June 22. West Burlington will face a Bulldogs team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Van Buren County (Keosauqua, IA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-7.
Next, the Huskies face the North Linn Lynx (Troy Mills, IA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, June 24. Highland will attempt to move on its 6-7 season record. The Lynx enter the bout with a 10-4 record after their 7-6 non-league loss to Center Point-Urbana (Center Point, IA).
