The Assumption Knights softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Lisbon Lions to 5 in the Knights non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Assumption moves its record to 14-8 on the year. The Knights host Griswold (Griswold, IA) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league game on Saturday, June 22. The Tigers come into the game with a record of 19-1. Griswold won 9-6 in their recent league game against Fremont-Mills (Tabor, IA)

In their next game, the Lions clash with the Marshalltown Bobcats (Marshalltown, IA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, June 22. Lisbon will attempt to move on its 17-8 season record. The Bobcats come into the game with a 10-16 record after their 9-6 non-league win over BCLUW (Conrad, IA).
